The structure of GYTA53 is to sheath 250μm fiber into a high modulus loose tube (PBT). The tubes are filled with water-resistante filling compound. A steel wire, especially sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for high fiber count cable, locates in the center of cable as a strength member. PBT tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and round shape. The gap between the tubes is filled with water blocking compounds. Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate( APL) is applied around the stranded loose tubes then the PE is extruded as an inner sheath and armored with corrugated steel tape(PSP). Finally, completed with PE outter sheath.
