The JFOPT double sheath Mini cable uses multiple color-coated optical fibers as the optical transmission medium, with an added layer of aramid yarn as the strength member, forming a sub-cable. The sub-cable is further reinforced with an additional layer of aramid yarn and covered with a PVC or LSZH sheath to protect the internal structure. Compared to single sheath Mini cables, the dual-layer structure offers superior resistance to compression, abrasion, and tensile forces, making it suitable for use in more demanding environments.
