Application of MPO-LC Branch Fiber Patch Cables

In high-density integrated fiber optic environments such as data center facilities, MPO branch fiber patch cables fully leverage the advantages of high-density multi-core optical cables and MPO/MTP connectors. Through an intermediary branching structure, connections from MPO to common connectors like LC, SC, FC, ST, and MTRJ are achieved. Some common types of fiber patch cables include MPO-8LC, MPO-12LC, and MPO-24LC. Fiber cables with outer diameters of 0.9mm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm are applied according to different environments.



By connecting high-speed ports (MPO) with low-speed ports (LC), the conversion between 40G/100G and 10G/25G is achieved on one end.

Using MPO-4DLC branch fiber patch cables to connect 40G QSFP+ optical modules with 10G SFP+ optical modules.
 
100G to 10G Link Connection:
Using MPO-LC branch fiber patch cables to connect 100G QSFP28 optical modules with 10G SFP+ optical modules, with MPO-LC pre-terminated module boxes (placed in high-density patch panels for easy management).
