G652D low water peak dispersion unshifted single-mode fibre is suitable for 1260-1625nm full band transmission system. By suppressing the water peak that occurs near 1383nm in conventional single mode fiber due to OH- absorption, G652D fiber is able to open E- band (1360-1460nm) for operation, and consequently provides 100nm more usable wavelengths. G652D is applicable to all kinds of optical cable structures, including ribbon cable, loose tube stranded cable, backbone cable, central bundle cable and tight buffered cable, etc.
