G657A2 bending insensitive single-mode fiber has excellent bending resistance and low water peak characteristics. It can make full use of O-E-S-C-L band (1260~1625nm). The bending resistance of G657A2 not only ensures the use of L band, but also makes it easy to install. Especially in FTTH networks, the bending radius of the fiber can meet the requirement of laying along the smallest corner. The MFD of G657A2 is consistent with that of G.652 fiber, which makes it low loss when connected with G.652 fiber, no matter with fusion joint or mechanical connection. The G657A2 can fully meet the demand of network for capacity and flexibility.
